Profile:
A graduate of Yale University and the Cornell University Medical College, Dr. Massey completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center and Psychiatric Residency Training at GWU, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. During this time, Dr. Massey devoted much of her time to training in alcoholism and substance use disorders under the guidance of Dr. Mark Willenbring, MD, former Director of Treatment and Recovery Research at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

Dr. Massey is board-certified in general psychiatry, and certified in office-based treatment of opiate dependence with buprenorphine. In addition to interests in mood disorders, and alcohol and substance abuse treatment, Dr. Massey provides evaluation and counseling to women interested in egg donation as well as to women undergoing fertility and assisted reproductive procedures at the GWU/MFA Fertility Center.
